The date picker is one of many jQuery UI widgets that are available in the Adobe web site's widgets section. A date picker is a very useful option to have in your armoury and one that can be deployed in several different ways to enhance your web site's functionality.

In this tutorial, we will look at how the date picker can be used and how it can be changed from the default American style of date format to the UK date format.
