Structured Forms using CMX AJAX Form Submit

Primary Category: DreamweaverOne of the biggest problems with conventional HTML forms is that they can only send "flat data" to the webserver; HTML provides several ways to add structure to your form, but once the form is submitted the structure of the information is lost. If you're using the CMX AJAX Form Submit extension to handle your forms though you can now overcome this limitation, and in doing so better prepare yourself for the next generation of web forms. In this article we'll explore what "flat data" is, why it's a problem, and some of the benefits of "structured forms" from both a user and developer point of view.
