Creating a Realistic Cast Shadow

Primary Category: FireworksIn the early days of CMX, I wrote an article on Creating Perspective Shadows in Fireworks MX. Those concepts still hold true, but I thought I would share another technique. Consider this an enhancement which produces an even more realistic - and controllable - cast shadow.

This technique makes use of a vector mask, a marquee selection and two copies of the bitmap selection, each filled with black.
