Email clients. . .can't live with them, can't live without them

Does anyone know of a decent email application for Windows? I am finally fed up with Outlook Express. It's not that I don't like the program -- I think it's possibly one of the most user-friendly apps out there. . .and it's free. It also handles a lot. I have about 30 gigs of old emails categorized and stored in the program. The problem is the periodic crashes. It crashes consistently for me at least once every six months. But when it does, I usually lose either a whole folder of messages or all my filters. Either way, it's a pain.

So now I've migrated all my settings and old emails to Thunderbird, another free program. After using OE for so long, this new program is hard to get used to. It's not very good. What else is out there? What is everybody using? I've tried Eudora and don't like that much either, and I've heard Outlook has the same problems as Outlook Express. Is there anything good out there?
