Shepard Smith said there is going to be flooding of biblical proportions in Florida.
I am north of Kim about 2 hours. We just started getting a few little showers that blow and rain for about 3 minutes each. But if Florida has an Ararat, I am on it... a nose-bleeding 20 meters above sea-level.
Frances is moving 5 miles and hour so there is no telling where she will go. The computer models get decisively less accurate when the storm moves this slowly. For the most part it is a beautiful day out, but there is nothing to do because everything is closed and we are supposed to be off the roads. We tried to go to the one grocery store we heard was open just for something to do (4 year olds get stir crazy very quickly) but there was already a cop outside telling us they were closing and to go home.
Biggest news at the local beach seems to be that the turtle eggs are getting uncovered and rolling around. I think they are trying to get to an ark.
