Mike Chambers' Flash Resource Manager is a terrific (and free) application that enables you to access Flash and other Macromedia documentation from one centralized location. In addition, the program is extensible, which means you can add Firefox-style plug-ins, themes, and additional help files downloaded in Macromedia LiveDocs format.

In these videos, you'll learn how to install and use Flash Resource Manager, and how to customize it to incorporate resources available on CommunityMX.com. If you want to follow along with the videos, you'll need to do the following:

In case you're curious, CMX.src is an XML document that you can open in any text editor:

<search
    name="Community MX"
    method="GET"
    action="http://www.communitymx.com/search.cfm">
    <input name="searchbox" user="" />
</search>

You can use CMX.src as a template if you want to create additional search plug-ins for Flash Resource Manager. Currently, Flash Resource Manager only supports the GET method. For more information, see the readme.txt file.
